Les climatiseurs mobiles sont des appareils autonomes qui assurent le refroidissement d’espaces ou de pièces spécifiques. Ils se composent d’un compresseur, d’un condensateur, d’un évaporateur et d’un ventilateur. Ils fonctionnent en extrayant l’air chaud de la pièce, en le refroidissant par le cycle de refroidissement et en libérant de l’air froid dans l’espace. L’air chaud est évacué par un tuyau extérieur qui peut être placé près d’une fenêtre ou d’une autre sortie appropriée.

How to Choose a Portable Air Conditioner

There are several factors to consider when choosing a portable air conditioner. The starting point is cooling capacity (measured in BTUs or kW), which should always match the size of the room you want to cool. Other factors include energy efficiency, noise level, additional features such as programmable timers and remote control, and the overall build quality and reliability of the unit. Power (BTU and kW vs. Room Size)

The cooling power ise measured in BTUs (British Thermal Units) or in kiloWatts. As a general guideline, the choice of BTUs and kWs must be based primarily on room size: higher BTU ratings and higher kW for larger rooms and lower ratings for smaller spaces. However, it's important to note that other factors, such as insulation and heat sources, can influence the cooling requirements.
For rooms up to 85m3 you can choose an element with around 9000 BTU or 2 - 2,5 kW. For bigger spaces, up to 100m3, better to choose units from 9000 to 12000 BTUs (2,6 to 3 kW). Some of De'Longhi most powerful units can reach up to 13000 BTUs (3,3 kW) and are suitable for areas bigger than 120m3.

Heating Function and Dehumidification Function

The dehumidification function helps to remove excess moisture from the air, improving comfort and reducing the risk of mould growth. This function can be used, for example, in a very humid room or at certain times of the year when the humidity is particularly high. The heating function, available on the De'Longhi PAC EL92HP, allows the appliance to provide warmth during the colder months, making it a versatile appliance that can be used all year round.

Energy Consumption

Portable air conditioners are usually labelled with an energy efficiency rating that indicates their energy saving capabilities and helps users make informed choices about their efficiency. In Europe, the energy efficiency of portable air conditioners is usually indicated by the European Energy Efficiency Certificate. This certificate uses a scale from A+++ (most efficient) to D (least efficient). Countries such as the United States and Australia use their own energy labelling systems, such as the Energy Star rating and the Energy Rating Label respectively. Choosing models with higher energy efficiency ratings can help minimise electricity costs and reduce the environmental impact of their use.

Comment installer un climatiseur avec tuyau extérieur ?

Il est vraiment simple d’installer un climatiseur portable avec tuyau extérieur : il faut connecter correctement le tuyau extérieur à l’appareil et l’orienter vers une fenêtre ou une bouche de ventilation appropriée. L’installation implique de fixer le tuyau en place et d’assurer une bonne jointure pour empêcher l’air chaud de pénétrer dans la pièce.
Choisissez d’abord un endroit approprié pour le climatiseur portable près d’une fenêtre ou d’une porte, et posez-le sur une surface plate et stable, de préférence près d’une prise de courant.
Fixez ensuite le tuyau extérieur à l’arrière du climatiseur (il tient en général dans une sortie ou un accès spécifié) et étirez le tuyau vers la fenêtre ou la porte.
Puis raccordez l’autre extrémité du tuyau au kit de ventilation fenêtre fourni avec l’appareil.

Combien coûte un déshumidificateur ?

Le prix d’un déshumidificateur peut varier selon des facteurs comme leur capacité de refroidissement, les caractéristiques supplémentaires et leur efficacité énergétique. Les modèles de qualité supérieure avec davantage de caractéristiques seront plus chers mais ils peuvent fournir une meilleure performance et une durabilité améliorée à long terme.
