This innovative technology is accessible through the Coffee Link App, allowing you to save your preferred bean selection and its related settings, so that every brew is pre-set.

Cold Extraction Technology replicates the result obtained by the traditional cold brew method which relies on a prolonged infusion process taking anywhere from 12 to 18 hours. Our coffee makers streamline this process, introducing water into the brewing chamber at a low pressure and room temperature, reducing the brewing time to less than 5 minutes. This swift procedure is characterised by a distinctive pulsating flow that mimics the gradual nature of the traditional extraction method, delivering the brew drop by drop. For a standard Cold Brew, the serving size is set at a refreshing 120ml long drink. We recommend adding ice cubes for an even cooler coffee experience.

The Cold Brew drink is ready in under 5 minutes. Please note, the precise brewing time may vary slightly depending on the type of coffee beans selected and your grinder settings.

Cold Brew and Iced Coffee are far more different than you might think. Although both are served chilled and over ice, their preparation processes are not the same:

- Cold Brew is prepared though the innovative De'Longhi Cold Extraction Technology, which involves a cold extraction process
- Iced Coffee is extracted at high temperatures and then brewed over ice.

These different brewing temperatures and the variations in pressure applied during their processes have a significant effect on the overall flavours and aromas extracted from the coffee beans, resulting in 2 uniquely distinct drinks.
