Hoe werkt een luchtontvochtiger?

Een luchtontvochtiger onttrekt overtollig vocht uit de lucht door dit in het apparaat te laten condenseren. Door het milieuvriendelijke koelmiddel (R290) en de ventilator koelt vochtige en warme lucht af en ontstaan er waterdruppels. Deze worden opgevangen in een watertank en droge lucht wordt hierna weer de ruimte in teruggeblazen.

Het installeren van een luchtontvochtiger is erg gemakkelijk. Er is geen hak- of breekwerk nodig. Steek de stekker in het stopcontact en sluit optioneel de afvoerslang aan voor een permanente afvoer. Een De’Longhi luchtontvochtiger is dankzij het geïntegreerde handvat makkelijk te verplaatsen naar iedere gewenste ruimte. Ze zien er niet alleen mooi uit, ze zijn ook nog eens erg krachtig. Dit komt door de sterke ventilatoren in het apparaat. Ondanks dat deze niet volledig geruisloos zijn, wordt het vochtprobleem in huis goed aangepakt.

Hoe kies ik de juiste luchtontvochtiger?

Allereerst begint het met de ruimte die je graag wil ontvochtigen. Voor iedere ruimte is er een luchtontvochtiger die bij jou past. Waar moet je dan allemaal op letten? Welk probleem wil je aanpakken? Denk hierbij als voorbeeld aan het drogen van de was, condensvorming, schimmels of ademhalingsproblemen. Hoe groot is de ruimte (m³) waar je de lucht wilt ontvochtigen? Afhankelijk van de grootte van de ruimte bepaal je de juiste unit (hoeveelheid m³ die hij aan kan) die je nodig hebt. De werking van een luchtontvochtiger wordt bepaald door de omgevingstemperatuur. De’Longhi hanteert hierbij standaardwaardes waarbij de machine maximaal functioneert. Dit is bij 32°C en 80% relatieve luchtvochtigheid. Hoe kouder het wordt, hoe minder de ontvochtiger de lucht kan ontvochtigen. Bij 2°C ontvochtigt de ontvochtiger niet meer.
