Where is best to use a Convector Heater?

Mobile convector and panel heaters can be used in a wide range of applications. They are often used in rooms that need to be heated quickly and evenly, providing a pleasant background heat at a constant temperature. They do not require any complicated installation, they are simply plugged into a socket. Convector and panel heaters are equipped with handles for easy transport, so they can be used flexibly in any location. Convector and panel heaters are best placed in specific areas and zones, such as under windows or near poorly insulated doors, depending on the insulation condition and purpose of use. This creates an invisible thermal shield that prevents the cold from entering the room.

Panel and Convector Heaters VS Oil Column Heaters

Oil heaters function by gradually heating the oil contained within a sealed radiator. Unlike convection heaters, their surface temperature is lower, which means it takes a bit more time for them to heat a room. However, an advantage of oil heaters is that they offer a gentler heating process for the indoor environment. The heating element is not in direct contact with the air that passes through the heater, resulting in less drying of the air compared to heaters where the air directly interacts with the heating element. Regarding energy efficiency, all three technologies—panel heaters, free-standing convection heaters, and oil radiators—are equally efficient. A power consumption of 100 watts will provide 100 watts of heating output, regardless of the specific type of heater chosen.
