Les grains de café De'Longhi sont cultivés selon des directives de qualité, de propreté et d’équité, dans la plantation Finca Rio Colorado, qui fait partie du village durable de Las Capucas.

Cette communauté Slow Food a été créée en 2021 à Las Capucas, dans la municipalité de San Pedro de Copán, à l’ouest du Honduras. Son objectif est d’assurer la commercialisation d’un café de bonne qualité et de générer des revenus tangibles pour les familles des producteurs de café engagés en faveur de l’environnement et de la production durable, en les formant aux valeurs de Slow Food.

La haute qualité de ces grains a été testée par l’expert en café Andrej Godina selon les critères de la Specialty Coffee Association. Différent, naturel, essentiel : préparez-vous à un café unique en son genre.

This journey is our commitment to empowering coffee lovers to make more responsible coffee choices by giving greater insight into the people and processes along the coffee value chain.

Thanks to our partnership with Slow Food Coffee Coalition, we aim to support the activities of coffee producers and empower farmers by increasing consumer knowledge of their best practices and their commitment to producing good, clean and fair coffee.

The Slow Food Coffee Coalition is an international open and collaborative network, uniting all the participants involved in the coffee supply chain, from farmers to consumers. It also supports the creation of a Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) to identify Good, Clean and Fair Coffee.
“We work with producers providing them a participatory guarantee system certification based on trust, collaboration, and which do not financially burden them” Emanuele Dughera, Slow Food Coffee Coalition Coordinator.
