Prijenosni klima uređaji samostalne su jedinice koje pružaju hlađenje za određena područja ili prostorije. Sastoje se od kompresora, kondenzatora, isparivača i ventilatora. Rade na principu izvlačenja toplog zraka iz prostora, hladeći ga u ciklusu hlađenja i otpuštanjem hladnog zraka natrag u prostor. Topli se zrak obično ispušta kroz ispušno crijevo koje možete postaviti blizu prozora ili drugog prikladnog izlaza.

Power (BTU and kW vs. Room Size)

The cooling power ise measured in BTUs (British Thermal Units) or in kiloWatts. As a general guideline, the choice of BTUs and kWs must be based primarily on room size: higher BTU ratings and higher kW for larger rooms and lower ratings for smaller spaces. However, it's important to note that other factors, such as insulation and heat sources, can influence the cooling requirements.
For rooms up to 85m3 you can choose an element with around 9000 BTU or 2 - 2,5 kW. For bigger spaces, up to 100m3, better to choose units from 9000 to 12000 BTUs (2,6 to 3 kW). Some of De'Longhi most powerful units can reach up to 13000 BTUs (3,3 kW) and are suitable for areas bigger than 120m3.

Heating Function and Dehumidification Function

The dehumidification function helps to remove excess moisture from the air, improving comfort and reducing the risk of mould growth. This function can be used, for example, in a very humid room or at certain times of the year when the humidity is particularly high. The heating function, available on the De'Longhi PAC EL92HP, allows the appliance to provide warmth during the colder months, making it a versatile appliance that can be used all year round.

Energy Consumption

Portable air conditioners are usually labelled with an energy efficiency rating that indicates their energy saving capabilities and helps users make informed choices about their efficiency. In Europe, the energy efficiency of portable air conditioners is usually indicated by the European Energy Efficiency Certificate. This certificate uses a scale from A+++ (most efficient) to D (least efficient). Countries such as the United States and Australia use their own energy labelling systems, such as the Energy Star rating and the Energy Rating Label respectively. Choosing models with higher energy efficiency ratings can help minimise electricity costs and reduce the environmental impact of their use.

Hoe installeer je een airconditioner met externe slang?

Het installeren van een mobiele airconditioner met een afvoerslang is heel eenvoudig: de afvoerslang moet op de juiste manier op het apparaat worden aangesloten en naar een geschikt raam of ventilatieopening worden gericht. Bij het installeren van het apparaat moet de slang goed op zijn plaats worden vastgezet en afgesloten, zodat er geen warme lucht de kamer in wordt geblazen.
Kies eerst een geschikte plek voor de mobiele airconditioner, in de buurt van een raam of deur. Plaats het apparaat op een vlakke, stabiele ondergrond, liefst in de buurt van een stopcontact.
Sluit vervolgens de afvoerslang aan op de achterkant van de airconditioner (deze past doorgaans op een daarvoor bestemde uitgang of uitlaat) en leid de slang in de richting van het raam of de deur.
Sluit vervolgens het andere uiteinde van de slang aan op de raamventilatiekit die bij het apparaat is geleverd.

Hoeveel kost een ontvochtiger?

De prijs van een ontvochtiger kan variëren en is afhankelijk van verschillende factoren, zoals koelcapaciteit, extra functies en energie-efficiëntie. Modellen van hogere kwaliteit en met meer functies hebben wellicht een hoger prijskaartje, maar kunnen op de lange termijn beter presteren en duurzamer zijn.
